The grand piano is a heavy and majestic structure, translating hand movement into a mellow sound. Like a mechanical clock, it moves its parts repetitively. The clang of hammers striking the strings creates a gentle vibration that becomes a transient experience.

When I was a child, I dreamed of being a pianist. I was told my hands didn’t have the required physical characteristics. Nevertheless, I bonded with this instrument and always had the piano in my vicinity. I became fascinated with its internal parts that, when activated, originate strong emotions, thoughts, and memories as if the instrument was a living entity.
