container.obj

In the woods, close to home, there is an abandoned container that every local child knows. Dented, covered in graffiti, and worn by time, it has become part of the landscape, a hiding place for play.

Container.obj is an experiment in digital preservation, reconstructing my surroundings to extend their presence beyond the physical world.

Digital objects have their own properties, governed by the physics of virtual space. Using photogrammetry, I manipulate these forms, often leading to unexpected results.

My exploration focuses on how digital preservation might allow future generations to revisit the past through the evolving possibilities of extended realities.
